    Jamestown S’Klallam Tribal Library Presents Introduction to Northwest Coast Archaeology with Gary Wessen 6-9 pm at Red Cedar Hall on the Jamestown S’Klallam Tribal Campus at 1033 Old Blyn Hwy April 3, 10, 17, 24, (first four Mondays of April) This program is a 4-week seminar on archaeology in the Pacific Northwest presented by archaeologist Gary Wessen. After examining some important background issues, attendees will review the archaeological record briefly highlighting some of the better known Western Washington sites, and consider what they can tell us about the prehistoric cultures of this region. This course will also examine the modern environment for these resources: What are the threats to archaeological sites today? Class size will be capped at 30 attendees, so sign up soon!   2. Free Wednesday Morning Bird Walk

    April 19, 8:30 AM - 10:30 AM @ Dungeness River Audubon Center in Railroad Bridge Park

    Wednesdays, 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. Meet at the River Center to see and hear the birds of the Dungeness riparian forest. Information from walks helps us understand the annual cycle of birds in Railroad Bridge Park. All ages and experience levels are welcome to attend.
