We love to celebrate in Sequim and we put on some of the best festivals and community events around. Join us as we celebrate irrigation water, that sweet smelling purple plant and lots of things in between.
Plan to help us celebrate the end of winter and the coming of the spring and summer seasons with events for the entire family March 4 & 5, 2022 at our 3rd annual Sequim Sunshine Festival. Take part in the Sun Fun Color Run, the Sequim-Dungeness Valley Chamber of Commerce Sunny Sequim Scavenger Hunt, and other activities currently in the planning stages. Check back for more updates. Where Water is Wealth. The Sequim Irrigation Festival is the longest running festival in the state of Washington. 2022 marks the event's 127th year. The festival has been modified the past two years, but this year the event is back with a full slate of activities for the entire family.
Sequim is known for its fragrant, purple fields of lavender and for hosting the premier lavender event in North America. Normally celebrated on the third weekend of July, the 26th Sequim Lavender Weekend will be held July 15 -17, 2022. Lavender Weekend includes beautiful farms open to the public, many with special events, a "Street Fair" at Carrie Blake Park, and a host of community events. Get all the details.

Due to concerns about travel and group events during the COVID-19 pandemic, the 2022 Olympic Peninsula Birdfest is canceled.
Save the date for 2023 Olympic Peninsula Birdfest:
April 21 - 23, 2022. Past events have included guided birding trips; boat tours; and a gala banquet. A must attend for all bird lovers.
